Absolutely Free är Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Inventions andra album och det släpptes 26 maj 1967. Musikaliskt sett fortsätter albumet i samma riktning som föregångaren Freak Out! med galna korsningar av olika musikgenrer och underfundiga, samhällskritiska texter. Absolutely Free är dock ett mer svårtillgängligt album med mer ljudcollage och udda rytmer. Man kan också tydligare höra Zappas avantgardeinfluenser på detta album.
