Från Rilpedia

Isobel Campbell, född 27 april 1976, är en skotsk sångare, låtskrivare och cellist. Hon är en av ursprungsmedlemmarna i indiebandet Belle & Sebastian, men har sedan 2002, då hon lämnade bandet varit involverad i en rad olika soloprojekt.

The Gentle Waves är namnet på det band som hon startade 1999. Deras första album, The Green Fields of Foreverland, släpptes på indiebolaget Jeepster records 1999. Varpå det andra fullängdsalbumet, Swansong For You, utkom året därpå.
