John Philip Sousa, född 6 november 1854 i Washington D.C., USA, död 6 mars 1932 i Reading, Pennsylvania, USA, amerikansk kompositör och dirigent.

År 1880-92 var han ledare för United States Marine Band (USA:s marinkårs orkester) och därefter turnerade han med en egen orkester vars notbibliotek innehåller/innehöll över 10 000 titlar bl.a 136 marscher av Sousa. Han är mest känd som marschkompositör, men han har även komponerat annan musik såsom operetter, valser m.m.

Sousafonen har även fått sitt namn efter honom.
